To create a new channel you can call up this function either by using the i5 button or by double-clicking on "Create new channel". A new window will open in which you can enter the channel's metadata "Title" and "Description". These are mandatory fields. Then click on "Save metadata". The channel you have created will now appear in the channel overview.
To edit channels, click on "Edit channels & playlists" in the i5's upper navigation panel. To edit a channel's metadata, click on "Change channel metadata" in the left-hand navigation panel. The right-hand navigation panel will then open, in which you can select the channel whose metadata you wish to change. Double-click on it or click on the i5 button to select the channel in question. A window will then open in which you can adjust the channel's metadata. Finally, save the changes by clicking on "Save metadata".
Successfully encoded clips are automatically loaded into the "New videos" channel. From there the clips can be manually moved into the desired channel.
To move a clip into another channel, select the "Edit channels & playlists" option in the upper i5 navigation panel. Then select the existing channel in the left-hand navigation panel and the destination channel in the right-hand navigation panel.Then click on the i5 button - the selected channels will be opened.Drag & drop the clip or create a copy of the clip to move. Don't forget to save any changes to the playlist(s)!
TIP: You will find newly uploaded videos in the "New videos" channel.
You can copy a clip by duplicating the clip using the pressed "Ctrl" key either by drag and drop into another available or within the same channel.
Don't forget to save your changes by clicking on "Save order".
If your clips are not displayed in the channel, they are still being encoded. Click on "Encoding progress" in the upper navigation panel to check whether your clip has been successfully encoded (About: encoding successful: clipname.file). As soon as the encoding process has finished, this notification will automatically appear in your browser window.

In the upper navigation panel, select the "Edit channels & playlists" option. To publish a channel, click on "Publish/hide channel" in the left-hand navigation panel. The right-hand navigation panel will open, in which you can select the channel you wish to edit, either by double-clicking on it or using the i5 button.
A new window will then open in which you can allocate the channel to one or more players by ticking the relevant box(es). Confirm your selection using "Save authorization".If you no longer wish to show the channel, follow the steps above and remove the tick. Then reconfirm your selection using "Save authorization".
