stream5 Cockpit - Video Content Management
For managing the video contents you can use the clearly laid out stream5 Cockpit. In just a few minutes you can implement your videos online, broadcast and control them, all with the help of the s5 Cockpit. It is not necessary to download anything. You will receive the Log-in data for your Video Content Management System via email or from one of our competent employees.
Uploading videos
With the s5 Cockpit you can upload video clips to the Cockpit via an FTP-Server or via the browser function. The s5 Cockpit supports all common video formats and it encodes them automatically to Flash.
Editing videos
You can then add the corresponding metatags and create video thumbnails within seconds. This makes the video platform even more attractive.
Controlling videos
With the help of the Cockpit you can decide whether your viewers will have access to your videos by using a Log-in or not. The Pay-per-view function can be activated or deactivated in the Cockpit. The“Geo-location” function makes it possible for a certain viewer group at a regional or country-wide level to have access to the clips.
Setting up the channels
Channels give the player and the Cockpit a clear overview. Channels are files in which you can deposit video clips with similar contents. Your viewers will therefore only find those video clips in one channel that have the same topic (e.g. adventure videos in the channel “adventure”) . The channel can be changed in the player at any time and without having to reload the page.
Putting the s5Player online
By pressing just one single button you will create an HTML-code in the Cockpit, which can then be implemented in your webpage - and the s5 Player is ready set up on your page, together with all video clips and channels that you fitted into the player in the Cockpit before. With the help of the Cockpit you can also create the player design according to your own taste so that it fits in the design of your webpage.
Changing the player design
Any player’s design in the Cockpit can be changed according to your own taste and wishes – you can decide the color of the buttons or of the background. It is also possible to integrate your own sender logo with the help of the Cockpit. For your convenience there are several templates for arranging the player list and the channels.
Account management
Editors with different access rights for video contents and channels can have their own accounts in the Cockpit. With the help of the intuitive display complex editor sessions can be accomplished quickly. The account management makes it possible for you to have access to your product version in order to make changes at any time.
Statistics
The s5 Cockpit gives you a detailed live report and you can define the statistics timeline according to your own wishes. That way you will know which clips are viewed the most or which channels are most popular. A graphic overview of the TOP 10 channels and clips facilitates easy and convenient handling.

The largest video platforms in Europe have a capacity utilisation for video advertisement of 100 per cent. Stream5 serves as an interface for all known Ad Servers in order to allow for easy integration into your video system. To have an Ad Server connection, however, only pays off for a high video demand. This is why the Cockpit offers you the possibility to control video advertisement “manually”: That way you can still offer your partners attractive advertisement space in the form of Prerolls on your video platform.
